Why AKC

Are AKC Registered puppies better puppies, are they cuter, are they more faithful companions, do they respond better or more quickly to training? Perhaps but not necessarly.
Liz loves to tell stories about her "Ole Pardner" (her childhood dog). Pardner was a purebred mut, but he loved to play with and entertain them as children. Personally, my memories of Pardner are not so fond. It was when I knocked on her door for our first date that he was hiding beneath an evergreen bush and without warning he jumped out and bite my leg with all of his viciousness he could muster. Considering he didn't have a single tooth left in his head.
It would be difficult for me to explain just how ignorant Liz and I were about different Kennel Clubs, when we first purchased our first pair of Bichon Frise Puppies. As a teenager, I had owned Registered Poland China Pigs, and Red Angus Cow and Calf pair, but neither of us had previously dealt with any Kennel Clubs.
We first bought a female and then a male, both of these were registered with Continental Club (CKC), and then we bought two more females, they were registered with AKC, then we also registered them with CKC so that we could register their puppies. As we did this, we discovered that AKC (American Kennel Club) is not only the most recognized, but they also set a higher standard for Registration. For example AKC requires a DNA Profile of any male that sires more than three litters in one year, the same is not so with CKC. While this is not a perfect situation, it does give some assurance of their liability of the Pedigree. Also AKC is the one that sponsors most of the dog shows and when you register a god with AKC and ask for their Pedigree, they will provide a three year generation Pedigree, with a "Ch" prefacing the name of all the dogs that have been declared "Champions", "GCH" are Grand Championships. This Pedigree will also give the DNA profile of the Sire.
Liz and I have decided to go all "AKC", this is adding considerable added expense to our little operation, but we feel there is much more value in an "AKC" Registration. We now have four "AKC" Registered Females, and one "AKC" Registered Stud. Our Stud has both "CH" and "GCH" in his Pedigree, also their are Championships to be found in our Females.
The prices we will be charging for our Puppies will possibly flucuate with the market trends as we strive to produce a quality product at a fair and competative price.

We are just a retired Grandma & Grandpa enjoying providing High-Quality Breeding of the Prettiest little Fur Babies ever.We have been married for 56 years, and have worked together for many of those years, as we both have been Real Estate Broker/Owners for 23 years. Ken has been a Home Builder, and Liz is an Interior Designer and an Artist as well. We have two children, a Son and a Daughter, 4 Grand Children, and 6 Great Grand Babies, and one in the oven!We are just a small Breeder for BICHON FRISE' Puppies only. We just love our Little Ones and enjoy seeing the Adoptive Family light up with excitement when they meet that perfect little new Family Member. We always look forward to keeping in touch with them and receiving pictures of how their Little Ones grow and develop. We just couldn't be happier.

Meet "MISS SHIRLEY TEMPLE" She is one of the newest member of our breeding adults. Shirley has a sweet disposition and just loves "LOVIN." She is an awesome Mommy; she is constantly bathing and loving on her babies. PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC.
Meet "Miss Dolly Parton" She is our newest Purebred AKC Female. Dolly is such a sweet mild tempered, affectionate loving little girl. She just loves her turn to sit in Ken's lap and watch TV and nap while she is getting her tummy massaged. She is not ready to be bred yet. PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC
Meet Mr. Freddy, "Fred Astaire". He is so smart, and He loves to dance for his treats. He has a great line of Champion Pedigree. PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC.
Meet "Miss Grace Kelly" Gracie", she is a high energy, very graceful in her walk, very proud. She has Chamionship Pedigree. She is a little taller than our other girls. She has a delightful prance showing her showmanship. PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC.
Meet Miss PRISSY. She is such a sweet, playful Mommy. Prissy is high energy, fiesty and love to play. She is a petite little girl, and sharp as a tack. She is very intelligent. PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC.
Meet "Mr PRINCE CHARLEMAGNE" He is one awesome and handsome young man. He has one of the prettiest fur coats and a beautiful show dog posture. He comes from a vast line of Championships in his Pedigree. He is PUREBRED REGISTERED AKC.

Adoption Preceedures

All of our Babies are fully Pure Bred Bichon Frise Registered. We will send out Birth Announcements to all who have their names on our waiting list. Due to the large number of clients, when we have a number of puppies available, we will notify that number of clients and give them 3 days to respond with a $200 deposit, before we notify the next clients on the list.When you are notified, we will then start accepting your "Holding Deposit" of $200. We then form our "Secured Puppy List", as we recieve your deposit. We will accept your personal checks by mail for the deposit only, or you may use

"Cash App" , by contacting Breeder at: 713-594-1345.

*AKC puppies sold for Breeding Purposes will require a slightly higher price.

Your Babies will be ready for Adoption Pick up when they are 8 weeks of age, and are fully weaned from Mommie, and on dry puppy feed, and thay have had their Good Health Vet. check up and is current on all Vaccinations and worming treatments. On Adoption Day, you will recieve their Good Health Certificate, along with their Vaccinations Record, Your Registration Application Papers, along with Helpful Hints for you, and a Gift Bag of Goodies for your Baby.

We ask that you please bring cash only on the final Adoption day when you pick up your puppy.
